WHO ARE WE?
Steve Hineman is the Founder and CEO of SH Recruitment. He has two decades of experience in HR and recruitment, working predominantly in the education recruitment sector.
A qualified primary school teacher, Steve’s passion and experience in education recruitment started in 2003 with the UK-based SANZA Teaching Agency, where he worked in the firm’s London office. In 2010, his strong account management performance and business acumen saw him elevated to the position of UK Branch Manager for SANZA, where he successfully oversaw a business with around £4.5m annual turnover.
In 2013, Steve returned to Australia and played a lead role in establishing an education division for the recruitment agency Charterhouse. He held the position of Director of Charterhouse Education for almost two years. He was headhunted in 2015 to fill the role of National Manager of recruitment firm McArthur’s Early Childhood Education division. During his time with McArthur, he helped establish new division offices in Adelaide, Brisbane and Canberra for the firm, as well as overseeing the Sydney and Melbourne offices, with an annual turnover of $24 million.
He founded SH Recruitment in 2019 with the mission to provide flexible and personalised executive recruitment services to clients in the education and training industry. He is passionate about delivering a premium and relationships driven service to his clients and candidates, collaborating with stakeholders to connect the highest quality executive-level.
